Our Vision Statement

We are an active community of Christian, unwavering from God's Word in out Lutheran confessions, to inspire all people to know, trust and glorify Him as the solid foundation where faith meets real life.

Vision Summary

Children & Youth Ministry Development

We engage children and youth from birth through college in a faith-driven environment that builds them up to be disciples of Christ in the church and community.

Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it. Proverbs 22:6 (ESV)

Community Activities & Outreach

We support and help others in our community, extending our culture of friendship and cooperation as we emulate Christ-like love.

Liturgical Worship

We honor and glorify the Triune God above all things—nurturing the faith of worshippers through Word and Sacrament and giving a sense of mystery and awe about the presence of God.

Lutheran Education

We teach and live the Christian faith according to LCMS teachings, reinforcing Lutheran Confessions for all ages through Christ-centered, life-relevant education.

Member Care

We actively care for and support one another as brothers and sisters in Christ, building personal relationships and reinforcing our faith through fellowship and service among members as we live at the intersection of faith and real life.

Time, Talents & Treasures Stewardship

As faithful stewards, we joyfully contribute our God-given time, talents and treasures to glorify Him and spread the Good News.

Our public presence in all its forms effectively shows the Ellis County community that CTK is here to share the Gospel and to love Christ and our neighbors.
