NOTES ABOUT CTK: On July 10th William and Carol Oncken will celebrate 71 years of marriage, HAPPY ANNIVERSARY!! The next quarterly edition of Portals of Prayer is available at the Welcome Center. Please pick one up! Cross of Christ in DeSoto, wishes to invite you to the installation service of their vicar John Hanse on July 12th at 3:30 p.m. It would be great if several of our people could show our support for them through their attendance! CONFIRMATION: The Board of Elders have agreed to allow children who are going into 5th grade this Fall to start confirmation. If you have a 5th grader in your house this Fall and would like to enroll your child in confirmation, please talk to Pastor Raebel.

A BIG VBS THANK YOU! We wish to make all who made our VBS such a great success. We thank the kitchen help, the teaching staff, their assistants, set designers, the COW SKIT PLAYERS and others who acted in various ways. Most of all we wish to thank our DCE Alison Daniels for getting this put together.

JULY YOUTH GROUP EVENTS! Calling all Jr. High and High School Youth families – we have a LOT going on in July! Sunday July 5th is service project Sunday - we will have a quick lunch after church and then head over to Legend Oaks to throw a party for the residents. July 12th we will have Brunch and Bible study after church! HomeTown Mission Trip is happening July 19-21 and students are encouraged to attend any day they are available – we will be doing projects at church on Sunday, volunteering in Arlington on Monday and Dallas Lutheran on Tuesday. Please RSVP to Allison or Letitia.
