NOTES ABOUT CTK: Now that the Town Hall meeting on the building options has met, please keep this in your prayers and thoughts. When having discussions about them with others, please keep them respectful. The vote to decide what option we pursue is on June 28th. If you would like further information, please contact Holly Bruinsma. Confirmation Sunday is two weeks away. Please pray for our confirmand Morgan Hinton! On May 31st, we will honor those from our church who are graduating. If you or would like a loved one’s graduation to be recognized, please contact DCE Allison Daniels.
SEMINARY PLACEMENTS: Last year at this time we looked at three seminary students to award our seminary scholarship. Those three were Logan Fraley, Micah Cummings, and the one selected Ambrose Shaltanis. Last Tuesday they were given vicarage assignments. Logan is heading to St. Mark’s in Houston, TX. Micah is heading to Bethlehem Lutheran in Jacksonville Beach, FL. Ambrose is heading to Trinity Lutheran in Springfield, MO. Our sister congregation, Cross of Christ, received Vicar John Hansen. The hope is that after a year of his vicarage, he will then be called to their pastor. Pastor’s and Cecilia’s son, Micah, received a pastoral call to St. John’s in Orange, CA. Ambrose is scheduled to preach for us one more time before going on vicarage on June 17th. We will also meet our new Adopt-A-Student, Sam Teichelmen, on May 24th.
THANK YOU: “Thank you for supporting my college journey here at Concordia with a scholarship. The blessing of being able to attend a Lutheran University is one I am incredibly grateful for. Thank you again for helping to support me! Blessings, Kathryn Hinton (this beautiful card is hanging on the bulletin board)

FLOWERS NEEDED: We still need altar flowers for May 31st. If you would like to give flowers in memory of a loved one or in celebration of a special event in your life or the lives of others, please sign up, the Flower Chart is on the hallway bulletin board. Your donation is appreciated.
CONSTITUTIONAL CHANGE: Every agenda item at our Voters’ Assembly meetings is important. On June 28th, in addition to the exciting vote on a new sanctuary or new administration building, we will also consider a small but impactful change to Article 6.4 of the Constitution. The Board of Elders and the Constitution Review Committee recommend this change to increase the number of candidates for a future pastoral call and to protect the future of Christ the King. If you have any questions about this matter, please speak with Tom Batchelor of the Board of Elders, Kelly Hinton or Tom Caldwell of the Constitution Review Committee.
