PALM SUNDAY: Next Sunday is Palm Sunday. This year we will gather in the narthex rather than outside for the blessings of the palms. The blessing will take place at the beginning of the service. We will then proceed into the church, laying our palms at the foot of the altar before being seated.
THANK YOU: Thank you so much for the surprise cake reception for my 60th birthday. I am very grateful for the outpouring of greeting cards. In this digital world, I was overwhelmed to receive 64 cards! I appreciate you all and so blessed to be a part of our church family. — Cecilia Raebel
DONATIONS: On the hallway bulletin board is a sign-up list for weekly donations for our Lenten Suppers. We would appreciate any donations of soup, bread, crackers, desserts, etc., for next week.
GRIEF SHARE: Weekly classes have begun and will continue until April 26th. Each session takes place on Saturdays from 3–4:30 p.m., in the church library. To register, please visit (https://www.griefshare.org/groups/259534/registrations/new). You may also register in person. Hosts Craig and Sandra Cates look forward to sharing God's love with you. If you have any questions, text Sandra @ 972-935-2743.
EASTER SERVICE TIMES: On Easter Sunday, April 20th our Sunrise Service will be held at 6:30 a.m. Easter Breakfast will be served at 7:30 a.m. Our traditional Easter Service will be at 9:00 a.m. followed by our blended service at 10:45 a.m. Good Friday service times are 3:00 p.m. (Tenebrae) and 7:00 p.m. (Cantata). Maundy Thursday will be at 7:00 p.m. with communion.
LADIES BIBLE STUDY: Our Tuesday morning ladies Bible study group will be starting a new book in April titled: "Promised Rest: Finding Peace in God's Presence." The book will cost $10 and will dive into the different names of God mentioned throughout the Bible. The group meets from 10:00-11:30am every 2nd and 4th Tuesday of the month for fellowship, study, and prayer. Please let DCE Allison know if you would like to attend, and she will order a book for you.
YOUTH LED LENTEN SERVICE: Please make sure you mark April 9th as a red-letter date on your calendar. Our youth will be leading us during the Lenten service that Wednesday night at 7:00 p.m.! Come out and show your support for them. You will be blessed to hear their testimony!
YOU'VE BEEN EGGED: Christ the King children's ministry team is looking forward to doing another year of "You've Been Egged" with our CTK families! This fun event brings the egg hunt to your kids at home! A volunteer can come "egg" your house on Saturday April 12th OR you can pick up a kit starting Sunday April 6th and do it at your own convenience. Please let DCE Allison know if your family would like to participate.
EASTER LILIES: There’s a yellow sign-up sheet on the bulletin board for our Easter Lilies. The cost is $9.00 per plant.
