NOTES ABOUT CTK:  Adopt-A-Student Ambrose Shaltanis last visit with us before he goes on vicarage is June 14th. We will have an Undershepherd Meeting on June 9th at 6:00 p.m.

UPDATE ON MORTGAGE BALANCE: Due to generous donations to debt reduction, our loan is scheduled to be paid off in September 2034. These extra gifts have reduced our loan from a twenty-year loan to a twelve-year loan. Praise the Lord!

NEW TOWN HALL MEETING: The Building Committee has been hard at work, amassing a lot of information to fill in the gaps on Option 1 and Option 2. They wish to share their findings with another town hall meeting on June 14th after the second service. Lunch will be served. It is a meeting you will not want to miss.

NURSERY ASSISTANT POSITION:  We are looking to hire a nursery assistant for this summer (June- August) to work 2 Sundays a month helping Natalia with our precious little ones. Hours are from 7:45am to 12:15pm and pay is $50 a Sunday. If you or someone you know is interested, please email Allison for the job description and application! 

VBS IS HAPPENING! June 22-25 from 6-8pm, for kids in PreK through just finishing 5th grade! We offer a FREE DINNER for families and volunteers at 5:30pm. This year, kids will learn about PSALM 23 and that our God always CARES FOR US through music, crafts, drama skits, and Bible teaching! Register your kids here and be sure to invite a friend!

We always need lots of hands to make this wonderful event happen, from helping in the kitchen, to crafts, to being a shepherd to the sheep in a crew, there is a place for YOU to serve! Please talk to DCE Allison to find a place to volunteer.  

VBS VOLUNTEER MEETING: Join us on Sunday June 7th at 5pm for a short meeting and come to learn all the details about volunteering for VBS! Whether you've been asked to volunteer already or just want to learn more about potential opportunities, this meeting will provide answers to some of the most asked questions.  

ALTAR FLOWERS: Thank you to all who have donated vases, bud vases and flowers, it is greatly appreciated. Because of these donations, the cost for a floral arrangement has been reduced to $30-$35. If you have any questions, please contact/text Mary Caldwell at 972-268-0858.

CONSTITUTIONAL CHANGE: Every agenda item at our Voters’ Assembly meetings is important. On June 28th, in addition to the exciting vote on a new sanctuary or new administration building, we will also consider a small but impactful change to Article 6.4 of the Constitution. The Board of Elders and the Constitution Review Committee recommend this change to increase the number of candidates for a future pastoral call and to protect the future of Christ the King. If you have any questions about this matter, please speak with Tom Batchelor of the Board of Elders, Kelly Hinton or Tom Caldwell of the Constitution Review Committee. Copies of the proposed amendment can be found at the Welcome Center. This constitution has been approved by the Texas District Constitution Committee, regardless of whether the amendment passes.
